Anytime I decide to write a guest blog for The Danberry Co., I always want to make sure the topic I’m covering is personal. The last piece I wrote gave insight into what a day in the life of a Realtor looks like. This entry I thought I would provide some insight as to why I chose The Danberry Co. and what it means to be a Danberry agent. So here we go!
When I first began the process of finding a brokerage to hold my license, I made sure to do my due diligence. I met with both larger and smaller companies, and with each I found similarities, as well some distinct differences. So, you might be wondering what made The Danberry Co. stand out.
The real answer? Everything.
Your brokerage is really your teammate when it comes to real estate, so it was important that I aligned myself with a company that not only had the capability of helping me achieve my goals, but more importantly, matched my core beliefs. All while knowing how to have fun.

Let’s start with the first: helping me achieve my goals. The amount of training, support, and tools provided by The Danberry Co. is truly unmatched. Not only do they subscribe to all the cutting-edge technology (have you checked out our new website?), employ top-notch support staff (can you imagine me trying to hammer one of our signs into a frozen ground?), but there is an entire marketing team dedicated to making you, our clients, look good. Each year we have the best real estate coaches flown in from Colorado for a week-long, fully immersed training experience. In addition, throughout the year we have countless hours of continuing education available in-house all led by our dedicated owners, Maggie, Kevin, Dan, and Lynn. But what does this all mean? The Danberry Co. has provided me with all the tools to help best serve you, my clients. Which when it comes down to it, is what is most important.

The second: I was blown away by their commitment to the community then and now. In 2019, The Danberry Treasure Chest benefit raised over $165,000 for Toledo Children’s Hospital. Other Danberry charitable efforts last year included building beds for children without, collecting books, toys, coats, and so much more. Not to mention the 11,000 community hours our agents spent giving back last year to other causes important to them. We’re a local company that really believes in the mantra #youwilldobetterintoledo.

And lastly: the culture! Danberry knows how to have fun. I truly mean it when I say I am surrounded by the best people. The real estate industry is extremely competitive in nature. With a good amount of the top agents in Toledo being under one roof, you would think that would breed a bad culture. Not in the least. Are we competitive? Yes. But not without being fully supportive of one another. Some of my best memories over the past few years were Danberry affiliated events. Any company that sends 100+ agents to Vegas is one who that values a strong work life balance.
